On Friday 31 March, Bishop Karol Kulczycki blessed the new, state of the art boarding facility at St Mark’s College in Port Pirie as it was officially opened.
The modern facility features a recreation and dining room, 33 bedrooms and an outdoor leisure area. Boarders benefit from individual air-conditioned bedrooms complete with ensuite and study nook, arranged in pods around a central courtyard.
The Diocese of Port Pirie is excited to announce the appointment of Dr. Justin Matthews as the new Deputy Diocesan Director, effective from 31 October 2024. Dr. Matthews, who currently serves as School Performance Leader for the Armidale Catholic Schools Office, brings a wealth of leadership experience in education, particularly in literacy, numeracy, and data-informed practices.
