About Us

The Catholic Education Office of South Australia (CEO) is the executive and policy implementation arm of the South Australian Commission for Catholic Schools (SACCS) and its Standing Committees. Offices are located on two sites to reflect the Diocese of Port Pirie and the Archdiocese of Adelaide.

As part of Catholic Education South Australia, the CEO works in partnership with Catholic schools to provide a range of facilities and resources to support Catholic education and families.

The CEO works to assist schools in enriching the lives of students by providing support which promotes the spiritual, physical, emotional, social and intellectual well-being of all students. Through partnerships with parents/carers, parishes, governments, and the wider community, the CEO strives to provide opportunities for students to develop their full potential.

The Catholic Education Office in Port Pirie works in partnership with the thirteen Catholic schools in the Diocese of Port Pirie. The mission of our office is to offer leadership and service to all of those involved in the ministry of Catholic education.
